Community Involvement
Ice Miller LLP has a strong commitment to the community it serves. Our attorneys and staff members are actively involved with many community organizations, including the United Way of Central Indiana, American Red Cross, Indianapolis Opera Company, Children's Museum of Indianapolis, Indianapolis Museum of Art, and the International Association of Fire Fighters. We also support more than 100 non-profit organizations with monetary donations to help them fulfill their mission. A team of attorneys comprises Ice Miller's Community Involvement Committee, which meets regularly to evaluate requests for donations on a case-by-case basis.
The largest contribution made by Ice Miller each year is to the United Way. Three different giving campaigns are held each fall; to further demonstrate Ice Miller's commitment to the work of the United Way, partners match employee pledges. Ice Miller consistently ranks as the top law firm in Indianapolis in the number of Key Club members (earned by individuals who pledge $1000 or more). Ice Miller has regularly received, in recent years, the United Way Company that Cares award for exceeding fundraising or participation goals.
Ice Miller attorneys also perform pro bono work for non-profit organizations who need legal assistance and would otherwise be unable to afford the cost.
